Lata's first feature length Screenplay titled "The Ascent" has been selected one of three WINNERS in the international Canadian Wild Sound screenwriting competition from hundreds of entries around the world.
Apart from having written the script for several non-fiction films, Lata has also written the screenplay for a 13 part infotainment TV series on science awareness.
